Tech Tip: Browser Bookmarks
I rely on bookmarks heavily for ease of access and important webpages in case something goes wrong and the browser closes (or computer restarts for some reason, just anything really that might close what I'm doing). I only have one folder that stores school-related links, such as OU's One, Canvas, bookmarks for this class, and research, which could include pages I'm using for an essay or research papers I'm reading for my math degree. Other uses I've made for bookmarks include bookmarking the sites I use a lot (hence the ease of access part), such as YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc. Overall, bookmarks are incredibly helpful. Surprisingly, I didn't start using bookmarks until I entered college almost two years ago because I never saw a point. Now I use them every day!
